Jody Wright can't remember a time that she didn't have the joy and friendship of a companion animal by her side. As an artist, when she began painting her "best friends", she decided to ignore Mother Nature and paint their colorful spirits instead. Most often, she paints rescued animals and can't understand how such loving creatures can be cast aside.
Currently, she and her husband share their home in West Virginia with Obie (found with 11 puppies in a box at the side of a road) and Ryan (a chocolate lab mix found roaming the streets of a small town). In addition to painting, her mini-gift book, "50 Secrets Humans Should Know" shares the life lessons dogs have taught her and is available at major bookstores.
She is delighted to work with Andy Carlson to share companion animals in the PET DREAMS series of cards. Many of Jody's works can be viewed at: www.wsggallery.com
