transcript: Voice:

'When we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Text:

Let us honor his legacy
by fulfilling
his dream.
In loving memory of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Keep The Dream Alive

transcript: Voice:

''....one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!''

Text:

Let's celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King.
He fought for civil rights and told the world ''let freedom ring''.
He spoke out and fought against civil strife, though the price of equality cost him his life.
He spoke for the poor with his eloquence and protested without using violence.
Bravely, he led the call of our nation to end the injustice of segregation.
Now his spirit lives on in another man, a President rejoicing; ''Yes we can!''
So we set aside this day to commemorate a modern day hero, a man so great.
Today we honor the memory of our beloved hero, Dr martin Luther King, Jr.
1929- 1968

King's Legacy

transcript: There once was a time
when ignorance and hatred were upon America
Brave men stepped forward
Brave women spoke up
One voice rose above
Inspiring hope
Calling out for us to stand together
So that the dreams of yesterday
Can become today's future
Let us usher in an era of equality,
understanding,
and brotherhood.
